Stef Strack
Stef Strack is an Innovative Executive, Entrepreneur, Advisor and Advocate. She brings over 15 years of experience at the intersection of Sport, Lifestyle & Technology with a track record of building and scaling businesses from $0 to $3.5B.
She started her career at Nike Italy in 2004 and successfully ascended to Vice President & General Manager of Nike’s game changing Direct to Consumer initiative on Speed to Market, called Express Lane. Stef created a new division for Nike Inc by digitizing the value chain from end to end, improving the ability to sense market demand and manufacture more sustainably. As recently shared in the Nike Annual Shareholder Letter, “Express Lane, as a whole, is leading to significantly stronger full-price sell-through rates and better overall supply-demand management.” The impact of Express Lane at Nike Inc has been significant, leading to accelerated double digit growth across Nike’s key cities with hyper local product and faster fulfillment through a more efficient supply chain. By Q2 FY18, 18 months after launching the new innovative division, Express Lane represented a double digit figure of Nike’s total business. Stef’s innovative approach to organizational design, value chain mapping and product creation is why today product in Express Lane is driving the momentum at Nike. Express Lane product largely sells through at full price, favorably impacts margin and in recent quarters has represented up to 20% of key geographies overall revenue.
Stef’s passion to create new disruptive business models and build high performing teams led her to a new role as CEO and Board Member of the fashion house Rag & Bone based in NYC. Here Stef created a strategic roadmap to bring the company into the future. Her extensive background across product creation, merchandising, sales, strategy, general management and supply chain is why today she is successfully building a new company from the ground up focused on her 3 passions, sport, women in leadership and equality.
Stef is the Founder & CEO of VIS™, also known as Voice in Sport™ a powerful new platform that brings more visibility to female athletes and elevates their voice to change more than just the game. Stef is also the Founder and CEO of a public non-profit organization called Voice in Sport Foundation™ which is dedicated to advocating for female athletes at all levels. The Voice in Sport Foundation® funds Sport Science & Research on the Female Body at all critical developmental moments and creates educational content for female athletes.. Behind the scenes through Stef Strack LLC® she is consulting for brands beyond the scope of sport as every industry looks to digitally transform and aims to create more meaningful connections to consumers.
Stef was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska, has lived in Sydney, Australia and Italy and now resides in Brooklyn, New York with her Creative Artist & Entreprenuer husband Alan Strack and two amazing kids Siena (7) and Parker (5).
