Mirjam Laux

Mirjam Laux is the Vice President of International Platform for Roku, responsible for leading advertising, content and The Roku Channel in markets outside of the U.S.
Mirjam joined Roku in 2020 from Amazon in London, where she served in various leadership roles, including leading Prime Video BENELUX and General Manager for Prime Video Direct Europe and for Prime Video Channels Germany.
Previously, Mirjam led the Pay TV and on-demand activities for Fox International Channels in German-speaking Europe, responsible for tripling the company’s net profit over a three-year period.
In 2004, she began her media career at ProSiebenSat.1, Germany’s largest broadcaster in corporate development and later as Head of PayTV, where she shaped the group’s early online video activities for six years. Mirjam also worked as a Financial Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Media M&A and Corporate Venture Capital Teams in London.
Mirjam holds a Master in Business Administration from University of Pennsylvania.
