Hashi Mohamed is one of the UK’s leading junior barristers, a broadcaster at the BBC and an author. He was called to the Bar (The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn) in 2010, and now at No5 Chambers he practices in public law with a specific focus on planning and environmental law. Mohamed came to the UK as an unaccompanied child refugee from Kenya in the summer of 1993. When he arrived he spoke basic English,attended failing schools and was raised exclusively on state benefits in a deprived area of North West London.
Today, he is also a published author who attended Oxford University for his postgraduate degree and Bar School on a full scholarship.
