After a long year with screens dark, the world’s biggest film magazine will be leading the charge back to cinemas this May. To celebrate, Empire’s Editor-in-Chief Terri White will be in conversation with award-winning director, screenwriter and producer Edgar Wright, the architect of EMPIRE’s recent Celebration of Cinema Moments special issue, which saw contributions across the brand from 40 filmmakers and actors including Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, Chris Evans, Daniel Kaluuya, Bong Joon-Ho, Spike Lee, Barry Jenkins, Patty Jenkins and Tessa Thompson. They will discuss the making of one of EMPIRE’s biggest issues in recent years and the incredible response from Hollywood and beyond; plus, the continuing importance of theatrical and why cinema will never, ever die.
