Madhu also writes long form features, with a particular focus on data, science and medical technologies. She has written for publications like Scientific American, New Scientist, Popular Science, BBC Future and Nature Medicine, and is a researcher and consultant for WIRED Consulting. Before Wired, Madhumita was an immunologist and worked on a vaccine for the HIV virus.
