Jill McDonald

Jill received a First Class Business Studies degree from Brighton University and joined Colgate Palmolive as Marketing Trainee in 1987.

In 1990 she joined British Airways in sales and marketing. During her 16 year BA career she worked in the UK and Hong Kong across Senior Brand Management, Advertising, Sponsorship, Employee Engagement, In-Flight Retail, Research, and Corporate Design. She left BA as General Manager leading Global Marketing, Employee Engagement, Design and Customer & Business Insights.

McDonald’s appointed Jill in June 2006 as Chief Marketing Officer, UK and Northern Division. The following year she added New Product Development and Business Strategy & Insights to her role. In 2010, Jill was promoted to CEO UK and President, Northern Division and in January 2014, as part of European re-organisation, assumed responsibility for Germany in addition to the UK, Nordics & Republic of Ireland.

Jill is Non-Executive Director for Inter-Continental Hotel Group Global Board.
