Annie Mac

After stints in marketing and as a TV and radio plugger, Annie joined BBC Radio 1 as a broadcast assistant. Her rise has been meteroic. Her show on Radio 1 began in 2004, when working as an assistant producer on Zane Lowe's show, she impressed Radio 1 bosses with her demos and her determination.
Since then Annie has established herself firmly as part of Radio 1's specialist output.

This led to her becoming a firm DJ fixture on the club scene and the development of her 'Annie Mac Presents' events, tour and compilations. This year Annie has created her own sold out festival in Malta over the Easter weekend, Annie Mac Presents Lost & Found.
