Steve Parker
Steve is currently the co CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group UK. In this key executive leadership role Steve leads the strategic direction and management of the UK operation across 500 people working closely with the group’s global Executive network. This enables faster, more agile decision making and ultimately speedier roll-out of campaigns and initiatives globally.
In the last five years, Steve has been a key leader in the transition of the Starcom MediaVest Group UK from a traditional media planning agency to an innovative content planning outfit with over 60% of its work having a digital, data or content focus. Steve understands the increasing importance of technology as an enabler for consumers to build relationships with brands, and has worked successfully to redesign the management team to fit the deep requirement for collaboration and innovation needed to succeed in the new convergent world.
Steve has a reputation for championing a genuinely open and collaborative approach to client and media owner relationships and is fiercely proud of the culture he has created within Starcom MediaVest Group. It is an agency brand that is genuinely focussed on creating real and valuable experiences for its people, its client and media partners and for consumers.
Steve is passionate about two things – the women in his life, his wife and two young daughters Jessica and Niamh, and Rugby.
