A three-hour motivational and educational session aimed to inspire a group of local GCSE students about life in media. Includes talks from industry leaders adidas and Google; teenage Vlogging superstars ‘Mandem on the Wall’; technology demos of Google Glass and Oculus Drift and a live brief and presentation to media honchos.

Discover Media is an interactive initiative created by Carat to motivate, inspire and educate GCSE students from a local high school to pursue a career in the media and fix the growing skills gap in the industry. And now we’re bringing it to AdWeek.

Through three packed hours on the 26th of March we will take 30 students from Regent High School and deliver them educational talks from the likes of adidas, Google and Facebook, an inspiring presentation from Teen Vloggers Mandem on the Wall and motivational interactive sessions. These will include answering a live brief and presenting to a panel of top industry judges as well as testing out Google Glass and Oculus Rift.
