Julia von Winterfeldt

Julia is a passionate professional who connects imaginative thinking with effective solutions. Recently joining the ideas and innovation company AKQA as General Manager in Berlin, she leads a team of nearly 70 people, looking after clients including Audi, Montblanc, Nike, and Viacom. She brings more than 17 years of experience in business transformation and strategy with digital at the core, and has worked out of Germany, the US and the UK.
Before joining AKQA, Julia worked as Managing Director at Accenture Interactive. From 2001 to 2012 she was with Sapient Corporation, where she held several roles including Creative Delivery Director, Client Executive, and Global Account Director, looking after various clients such as T-Online, Swisscom, General Electric, MetLife and Associated Press. During her last three years at Sapient, Julia envisioned and enabled Unilever’s global digital transformation, driving a more efficient, scalable and compelling value-add for all things digital, across all brands and regions. Prior to this, Julia worked for German agency group Pixelpark for several years in Berlin, and also set up their Munich operations.
Julia is always interested in leveraging connective thinking to ensure companies relate to their customers in a real, sustainable and impactful manner, to the benefit of both.
