Carlo Cavallone

Born and raised in Milan, Carlo Cavallone studied Humanities at the University of Milan, later enrolling in the film program at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. Carlo’s advertising career began at Bozell (then FCB), followed by LeoBurnett Milan. In 2001 he moved to Amsterdam and signed on at Wieden+ Kennedy, where he would spend the next nine years as a digital writer, writer, and creative director. During that time he worked on Nike, EA Games, Vodafone, Coca-Cola and Heineken.

In September of 2010 Carlo joined 72andSunny LA as creative director, and a year later he was asked to lead 72andSunny Amsterdam as executive creative director. Since then he has been responsible for the growth and culture of the Amsterdam office, upholding the agency’s creative integrity and output. Carlo has been working across all of the agency's clients, including Benetton, Google, Samsung and Smirnoff.

Carlo has won a number of awards throughout his career, including two Epica Grand Prix, four One Show Golden Pencils, a BAFTA award, one Cannes Grand Prix, and four Cannes Golden Lions.

He currently lives in Amsterdam with his wife of ten years, Sabina, and his 8-year-old daughter, Sofia.
