Does London have the right ingredients to become THE number one global mega city, dwarfing heavy-weight contenders like New York, Tokyo, Shanghai & Delhi?

Today, London spans over 600 square miles and is home to more than 8 million people. It is predicted to grow by a further 1.5m people over the next 20 years – the size of Manchester & Birmingham combined. Few would dispute the fact that London is Britain’s economic & cultural powerhouse – not so much part of the UK, but a city state in its own right.

However, some may go further and share the view of Matt Scheckner, founder of AWE who said ‘London is an iconic world city built on the cross-section of creativity and innovation and from where we sit in America, it is the capital city of the entire Europe, Middle East & Africa region’.

Our panellists will discuss the facts, the stats & merits of all aspects of London – from politics to fashion, from transport to food & drink, from culture to new technology & put their view across, but where do you stand with regards London's supremacy?
