Ben Samuels joined MelodyVR as its president and GM, North America, in May 2017. Ben oversees MelodyVR’s U.S. operations as well as artist and label relations across North America.
MelodyVR was created to bring artists and music fans closer than ever before. The 360°, immersive performances on the MelodyVR app globalize the live music experience by giving a front-row / on-stage seat at unforgettable shows to anyone with a smartphone or VR headset. Whether standing next to a musical hero at a sell-out concert, or exploring a virtual world created by a favorite artist, a premium, live music experience is accessible to fans regardless of location in the world or access to an exclusive ticket. Artist partners span genres and include John Legend, Nelly, JoJo, Calboy, Cypress Hill, Kelly Clarkson, The Chainsmokers, Post Malone, Panic! at the Disco, Kiss, Tyga, Blake Shelton and many more.
Previously, Ben was SVP of business development at Bkstg, the fan engagement app backed by Scooter Braun Projects and Live Nation. He began his career at ICM, followed by stints at Paramount Pictures and Scooter Braun Projects. He received his BBA from The George Washington University and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
