Sharon O’Sullivan is the Global Head of Corporate Partnerships for Global Citizen where she leads the team that develops and manages relationships with the private sector and oversees global distribution for broadcast events across linear, digital, OTT, and audio. In her time at Global Citizen, the organization has executed the global campaigns and events One World: Together At Home and Global Goal: Unite For Our Future whose collective impact has driven over $7B in COVID-19 relief and towards the development and equitable distribution of a vaccine for everyone, everywhere. Prior to joining Global Citizen, Sharon had a diverse career in media from start-ups to large media organizations with responsibilities across sales, marketing, business strategy, and client partnerships. She was Chief Revenue Officer at the start-up OZY
and prior to that held several roles at Discovery Communications where she was last the EVP of Client & Brand Partnerships. She oversaw Discovery Solutions, sales marketing, revenue strategy for the portfolio, and directly managed over $1B in revenue. Sharon has previously held posts at ESPN, FX, and CBS. She has been recognized by Ad Age as a “Woman To Watch” and by AdWeek on their “AdWeek 50” list. Sharon graduated from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and lives in Summit, NJ with her husband Danny. They have three children, Sam, Olivia, and Ronan
