Anne Deo is the head of analytics at the Ad Council, the national nonprofit organization that mobilizes the energy and talents of the communications industry to make a measurable impact on the most critical social issues of today. She has 20 years of experience in the nonprofit, public and consumer sectors.
In her role, Anne oversees the comprehensive, multi-disciplinary evaluation of campaign performance for more than 30 national social good campaigns. Over the course of its more than 75-year history, the Ad Council has created many of the most iconic public service campaigns in U.S. history — from Smokey Bear and “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk” to the viral phenomenon “Love Has No Labels.” Anne leads the tracking of nearly $1 billion in annual donated media support across campaigns and media. She is also responsible for building the organization’s analytics platforms, including a proprietary data warehouse, BI solution and marketing mix model.
