Toby is Deputy Executive Creative Director at AMV BBDO, leading the transformation of the global Essity business in breaking taboos, shaping culture, and making headlines around the world.
In 2019, Toby was the 7th most awarded Creative Director in the world, with back-to-back Cannes Titanium Lions, a D&AD Black Pencil, and a career haul of over 20 Grand Prix at Cannes, One Show, Clios and other global awards shows.
In 2020, Toby was ranked #1 CD in the world in the Drum Rankings 2020. In 2014 Toby started a creative academy at AMV BBDO to draw in a more diverse talent pool. In 2018 his efforts were recognised by Management Today, naming him alongside FTSE 100 CEOs as 'Agents of Change' for workplace equality.
Prior to joining AMV BBDO in 2012 Toby was Creative Director at W&K London, producing Honda ’Spark’ and the Nike London 2012 Olympics work. Before that he worked at BBH London, creating the award-winning Barnardo’s ‘Turn Around’ campaign, Levis ‘Bike’ and Audi ‘Gymnasts’.
