Bob is Senior Vice President, Cognitive Applications, Blockchain, and Ecosystems at IBM, where he is responsible for infusing AI technology across the business. He leads IBM’s blockchain business and oversees the company’s partner ecosystems including developers, global systems integrators, and independent software vendors to help clients accelerate their journey to the cloud.
He was appointed in 2016 as the company’s first Chief Digital Officer, changing how IBM innovation is delivered and consumed across the globe. He was previously the President of AOL and served as the CEO of Razorfish, a pioneering digital transformation consultancy.
A board member for Williams-Sonoma and Screenvision Media, Bob graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree from Syracuse University before pursuing his MBA from Harvard University.
