Catherine Mayer co-founded the Women's Equality Party (WEP) because she, like the thousands of women who joined in its first years, was fed up of women being relegated to an afterthought in political parties' manifestos. As a small party in a first past the post system, the WEP has to be creative about how to use elections to achieve its aims: whether winning seats or winning influence.
This session will explore how WEP works with their chosen creative agency Quiet Storm to engage their existing followers and to attract a new audience base in a political environment that seems to be getting more complex and noisier every day.
