Grim Narita

Born 1994 in Osaka. In March 2013, became the free-style ski halfpipe champion at the World Junior Championships, but in the following year is injured during training, which led him to bear the disability of peroneal nerve left knee palsy. After overcoming a vigorous rehabilitation, Grim made a comeback as an athlete, and from 2016, he started snowboarding and high-jump in track and field. In that same year, he snatched second place in high-jump in the Japan Para Athletics Championship; furthermore, in snowboarding, he became champion in both the Japan Para-Ski Championship and Para-Snowboard World Cup. In 2017, was ranked #1 in the world rankings. In the 2018 Pyeong Chang Winter Paralympics, he won the Gold medal in the men’s snowboard banked slalom, and the Bronze medal in snowboard cross competition.
