Katharine Christian is the Head of Financial Sales at the Financial Times. She oversees all financial client and agency revenue generation across the FT, as well as the FT’s suite of Specialist publications including Investors Chronicle, Financial Adviser, and Pensions Expert, among others. Since joining the FT in 2012, Kat has worked across advertising sales and digital development specialising and both client and agency relationships from all industries, including finance, luxury, automotive, and energy.
In 2017, she oversaw the formation of the new financial sales team, bringing together the sales teams of the Financial Times and the Specialist titles, to deliver a unified audience across all titles. Prior to joining the FT, Kat was the head of sales at GTNews, helping tier one banks around the globe reach corporate treasurers and CFOs through display and content solutions.
