Mitch Takahashi

Mitch Takahashi joined McKinsey & Company Inc Japan in 2007, after graduating from the University of Tokyo.
Working as a top management consultant for over 5 years, we had worked mainly around the marketing strategy in technology field and the organizational operational efficiency improvement.

After leaving McKinsey, he joined Otobank. Inc, a Tokyo-based startup in the field of audiobook publishing and distribution. He served as a General Manager of Marketing and Development, playing a pivotal role in expanding the audiobook market and company’s service for consumers.

In 2014, he moved to Rakuten, as a Principal at CEO Office. Working closely with CEO for strategic initiatives, he was assigned to business manager of Cross Border Business, which is a rapidly-growing field in EC business by allowing global consumers to buy various Japanese products.
