Liz Kaelin
Liz Kaelin is the former founder and CEO of leading Australian food tech startup Caitre'd which was acquired in July 2017.
Liz’s love of all things tasty inspired her first career as a dietitian and nutritionist, and prior to founding her startup she worked as a clinician and business development professional for Nestle, the World Health Organisation and Harvard University. A first-time entrepreneur, Liz bootstrapped and built Caitre’d from a mere idea into Sydney’s first “office catering concierge”, graduating from the prestigious muru-D accelerator and being featured on Shark Tank Season 2.
Liz is a highly-sought after consultant, speaker and mentor in the startup community, and has worked with such organisations as Mumbrella360, CeBIT, EY, Linkedin, IAG, Pivotal Labs, Coca-Cola Amatil, Simplot, Jamaica Blue, Telstra and the non-profit SBE Australia, where she was successful in securing $2million in funding for their programs. She is also currently the Entrepreneur in Residence for Sydney University’s INCUBATE accelerator.
Liz’s work has featured on Kochie’s Business Builders, Qantas Business Radio with Alan Kohler, Sky News, news.com.au, the Sydney Morning Herald, and the Age.
