Donnovan Andrews
Donnovan Andrews has long been an influencer on the forefront of the digital movement. When Donnovan was at Omnicom Media Group, in the mid-1990s, his team was the first to place ads online for McDonald's. He then joined Fortune City, a webhosting company that reached $1 billion in valuation on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Inside the firm, Donnovan built a new division dedicated to digital access to music. He assembled a team to build a platform, FlyNote, enabling people to store their music online. As well, Donnovan made deals with record labels that allowed users to stream music online and to mobile devices via WAP technology. It turned out to be too far ahead of its time... it was Spotify, but in 1999.
