Julian Jacobs

Julian Jacobs is co-head of UTA Marketing, a division of leading global talent and entertainment company United Talent Agency (UTA) that represents and advises top brands and corporations.

Julian Jacobs helped to build the UTA Marketing practice which leverages the agency’s unique expertise across film, television, digital media, video games, music, talent, key industries and powerful marketplace intelligence to create and provide a range of strategic consulting services to top brands including Coca-Cola, Google, Delta Air Lines, General Motors, Petco, LinkedIn, Lyft, Rally, and more.

In this role, Jacobs oversees the group’s client strategy, operations and new business efforts, and has helped lead the division’s rapid expansion, which now consists of over twenty executives across Los Angeles and New York. 
Jacobs is widely considered an expert in branded entertainment and last year served on the 2017 Cannes Lions Entertainment Jury. He was recently named one of Hollywood’s “New Leaders” by Variety.

Jacobs serves on the Next Gen Board of the Motion Picture Television Fund, a non-profit that supports the entertainment community. He is also a frequent guest lecturer in the graduate program at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication where he received his Master’s degree in Communication Management in 2009.
