Ruth Gaviria

Ruth Gaviria is the Chief Marketing Officer for the Elevate Prize Foundation where she developed its brand identity and leads the marketing and communications practice. She is disrupting the Philanthropy space by intersecting social impact with entertainment and culture to bring the foundation’s theory of change to life.

As Entercom’s first-ever CMO, Gaviria had executive oversight of all strategic marketing and communications functions. Gaviria previously served as EVP of Corporate Marketing at Univision Communications and launched Hispanic Ventures at Meredith Corporation. She began her career in brand management, holding posts at Procter & Gamble, Miller Brewing Company, Colgate Palmolive and Time Inc.

In 2018, Gaviria was recognized as the “Maverick of the Year” by the Women in Business Awards and named to The Holmes Report “Innovator 25.” Currently, she serves on the board of ALSAC and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Box Creative’s Advisory Board.
