Andrea Derby

Andrea loves building brands and creating smart work that drives business results. She spent the first part of her career working at two of the world’s most effective and creative advertising agencies – BBDO and Ogilvy – before moving client-side to UPS in 2018.

During her time at Ogilvy New York, she created marketing programs and creative content for brands like American Express, Nestlé and British Airways. She then transitioned to BBDO and has worked in both the New York and Atlanta offices. In New York, she led the FedEx brand team through a time of digital transformation and helped launch several of the brand’s first digital marketing programs. In Atlanta, Andrea led Norwegian Cruise Line’s brand strategy, creative content and performance media programs leveraging data and customer insights to drive revenue for the rapidly growing cruise line.

Most recently, Andrea joined UPS in 2018 during a time of transformation. Andrea leads US Advertising, Global Brand Management, Digital Asset Management and Print Production. Andrea believes that the speed of change will only continue to get faster and builds nimble teams that can leverage creativity, data and technology to connect with customers and drive business impacts.

A Clemson University graduate, you can find Andrea wearing orange and cheering on the Tigers most weekends. Andrea lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two young sons.
