Julia Fitzgerald joined the American Lung Association as Chief Marketing Officer at the end of 2018. With 20+ years of experience, Julia has lead marketing, brand strategy, and communications at highly recognizable brands including Thermos, Sylvan Learning, Kmart, Vtech, Hallmark, Azek and TimberTech. She is also a proven force in the digital arena, driving e-commerce and omni-channel campaigns as the Chief Digital Engagement Officer at Sears Holding Company.

After more than a decade in CMO roles, Fitzgerald excels in positioning brands to connect with consumers and developing teams to deliver on big plans. Her skills include integrating traditional advertising, PR, merchandising, online marketing, and social media for memorable campaigns that support growth goals; and she is energized to bring these skill sets to the American Lung Association.
