Wendy Clark

Wendy Clark was named CEO for DDB Worldwide in January 2018, leading over 200 offices and 11,000 employees globally, after two years as CEO of DDB North America. In her first years at the agency, Wendy helped land significant new business wins, including the global Volkswagen business, U.S. Army, U.S. McDonald’s business; Jim Beam; Miller Lite; AT&T; and VMware. She also oversees the partnership between DDB and State Farm, at 80 years the longest standing client relationship in the network. Using DDB Flex, the bespoke, customized, cross-agency model, Wendy has redefined the modern day advertising agency, launching We are Unlimited, Velocity and Voltage to serve global clients. Wendy also grew the agency’s core leadership team with the appointment of several important new hires, such as Global CCO Ari Weiss, DDB NA’s CSO Eric Zuncic, Chief People Officer Britt Hayes and most recently CCO Britt Nolan. DDB has also won multiple accolades under her leadership as global CEO, including recognition at Cannes Lions as the #2 Network of the Year and Network of the Year at OneShow.

Prior to DDB, Clark was President, Sparkling Brands & Strategic Marketing for Coca-Cola North America, leading their Strategic Marketing organization including Brand Strategy and Innovation; Media Connections, Investments and Assets; and Content and Design. Before joining The Coca-Coca Company, Clark was Senior Vice President, Advertising for AT&T.

Advertising Age’s Executive of the Year in 2017, Clark has also earned the Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications, She Runs It’s Advertising Woman of the Year, and was named the Brand Refresher on Fast Company’s top ten list of innovative Business Disruptors. Clark’s was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Hall of Achievement in 2007.

Clark is an advisory board member for the Peabody Awards and IDEO.org and a board director for the Ad Council and American Advertising Federation. She also sits on the board for David Yurman.
