Rob Siltanen

Rob is an Emmy-winning writer, marketing consultant, and brand turnaround artist. Cutting his teeth at renowned ad agency Chiat/Day, Rob became the youngest creative director in the company's history and spearheaded critically acclaimed campaigns for Apple, Levi’s, the Olympics and Nissan.

Rob went on to found his own agency, Siltanen & Partners Advertising, in 1999. His agency’s work for Coldwell Banker Real Estate has been ranked by Ace Metrix to be the most effective in the industry for seven years in a row. Likewise, Siltanen & Partners’ highly effective work has helped longtime client, Skechers, grow to become the third largest footwear company in the world (behind only Nike and Adidas)—nearly quadrupling revenue in less than seven years.

Rob's “Think Different” campaign and the “To the Crazy Ones” manifesto for Apple are among the most famous pieces of advertising of all time. He is credited with the first ad campaign ever turned into a prime-time sitcom (Baby Bob, CBS 2002-2003) and he has discussed his work on Good Morning America and Oprah. Throughout his career, Rob has received “Commercial of the Year” honors from Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, Adweek and USA Today.
