Seth Matlins
Seth Matlins is EVP of Endeavor Global Marketing, the cultural marketing agency within the Endeavor network, which includes leading talent agency WME and sports and fashion industry pioneer IMG. Seth leads efforts for the division’s branded impact group where he supports brands in their social impact strategies. Matlins was hired to create and build the agency’s expertise in the space to help the world’s biggest brands do well by doing good.
Most recently, Seth led efforts for CVS’s Beauty Mark work, an initiative the drugstore chain launched to stop materially altering the beauty imagery in its marketing materials as well as on its websites, social media channels, and apps. As part of the commitment, the “CVS Beauty Mark” was created, a watermark that will appear on all imagery that hasn’t been materially altered as a way for the brand to have authenticity and transparency with consumers to represent and celebrate the diversity of the communities it serves.
Prior to joining Endeavor, Seth founded That Was Then Enterprises, a brand-strategy and development consultancy, connecting big brands to social causes.
Seth was also the creator of the Truth in Advertising Act (HR 4445), bi-partisan Congressional legislation and a grassroots movement working to protect women and children from the false expectations created by “photoshopped” ads of the human body.
Previously, Seth founded Feel More Better, a double-bottom line brand dedicated to making the world happier for women and girls.
Seth has also built expertise in entertainment marketing as former Global Chief Marketing Officer for Live Nation, the world’s largest concert promoter and live entertainment company. In 2000, Seth started the Marketing Department at CAA, where he led client strategy, providing strategic and creative counsel to a portfolio of the world’s most iconic brands.
Before CAA, Seth was President of Rock the Vote, an NGO founded by members of the recording and entertainment industries.
Previously he was SVP Marketing at ProServ, Inc, the international sports marketing, management and television company. He began his career in the CPG category, selling the world’s most generic substance at a super-premium price for Evian.
Seth lives in LA with his 2 kids.
