William Roberts-Foster

Hailing from Memphis, TN, William Roberts-Foster is passionate about representation in the media industry. From in front of the camera talent, to storytellers and creatives, to support functions like advertising and sales, he believes diversity at all levels is necessary for business success.

For nearly 10 years, he has worked in various aspects of advertising/marketing, media, and business partnerships on some of the biggest brands in culture including Ford Motor Company, PepsiCo, Proctor & Gamble, Mondelēz International, and Mars. His perspective is shaped by a variety of roles on the client side at Capital One Financial, at agencies Team Detroit and Carat, and now as Integrated Marketing Director at a media/entertainment powerhouse with purview across a portfolio of 15+ TV networks, high-profile strategic partnerships with BuzzFeed and Snapchat, a leading film studio, and 2 domestic theme parks.

He also aims to invest in rising talent and the community through involvement with Young Audiences of NY which supports access to arts education for students, the 4A’s Minority Advertising Intern Program which connects young professionals of diverse backgrounds with leading advertising agencies, and serving as one of the Apollo Theater’s Young Patrons thus supporting the education, arts, and community initiatives of the theater.
