Chris Pollone

Chris Pollone is a freelance correspondent and producer for NBC News who loves meeting new people and telling their stories.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Chris has reported all across the U.S., telling stories of tragedy, triumph, and redemption.

Since moving to New York in 2012, Chris has covered two Super Bowls, countless snowstorms, a Papal visit, and even the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

His live reports are seen on 200 NBC affiliates throughout the U.S., MSNBC, the Weather Channel, and NBC clients in Canada, England, Singapore, and Australia.

He also frequently produces taped stories and live reports for NBC Nightly News and Today.

Chris started his radio news career in Lawrence, Massachusetts, followed by TV news stints in Jackson, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama. He taught broadcast journalism at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a proud graduate of the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
