Ned Benson grew up in New York City. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English, and pursued writing and filmmaking. Benson is best known for his film trilogy The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him, Her, and Them. The
Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and Benson was nominated for the Camera d’Or Award and Un Certain Regard Award. Benson has forayed into directing commercials, directing a number of ads for
Cadillac, including the 2017 Oscar’s campaign. He has also directed spots for Infiniti, featuring NBA star Steph Curry, and helmed the campaign to bring the Creative Spirit
Program to the United States.
