John DeVine

John DeVine is the Chief Revenue Officer at Oath. In this role, he leads Oath's global sales and customer operations organization.

Previously, John was the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Yahoo, where he was responsible for client services, ad creative and operations across Yahoo’s global advertising business. He also led the customer experience team, working directly with consumers of Yahoo’s top properties and apps. Previously, John led mid-market and small business sales.
Prior to joining Yahoo, John was a Principal at McKinsey & Company where he built and led the firm’s global Customer Experience (CE) practice. John specialized in service design innovation and worked extensively with clients in front-line retail, call center, field, and back-office operations for companies such as Disney Institute and ClickFox. Before joining McKinsey & Company, John was a submarine naval officer, serving aboard one of the U.S. Navy’s TRIDENT submarines based out of Seattle.

John graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. John holds a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Washington.

John lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife, Laurel. They have four children: Jake (19), Julia (16), Luke (11), and Daniel (10). John enjoys many hobbies including running, swimming and photography.
