Jonathan Craig

As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Jonathan M. Craig is responsible for building the Charles Schwab brand and fueling growth through communication and outreach to clients, prospects influencers and employees. Named CMO in September 2012, he leads U.S. and international marketing and corporate communications functions including brand management and development, public relations, advertising, investor insights , analytics, content development, marketing communications, employee communications and events. Craig also has responsibility for the global data team, focused on leveraging data as a strategic corporate asset.

Since joining Schwab in 2000, he has held a variety of marketing roles and was the Chief of Staff to Charles R. Schwab, founder and chairman of The Charles Schwab Corporation. He also managed the retail marketing and client acquisition team, driving new-to-firm household growth and leading retail marketing initiatives in support of the Investor Services business.

Prior to joining Schwab, Craig was employed with AT&T, where he held a variety of management positions in marketing, advertising and sales.

Craig received a master's degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In addition, Craig has completed Executive Education courses at the University of Virginia Graduate School of Business.
