Sarah Baehr

As EVP, Managing Director, Sarah leads digital strategy for many of Carat's blue chip clients, including Macy's and The Home Depot, among others, and helping them to navigate the convergent media world in a digital age. As a member of Carat's cross channel video advisory panel, Sarah focuses on embracing the opportunities that emerge from the intersecting worlds of traditional TV and digital, ensuring the agency takes a holistic approach to video reinvention and the overall marketplace.

Sarah’s innovative digital strategies played an instrumental role in helping Carat to win one of the industry’s largest piece of new business in 2012, Macy's domestic broadcast and digital media account. She also helps drive best practices for Carat and continues to shape the agency's publishing practice, comprised of a blend of print and digital specialists.

With more than 25 years of integrated media experience, Sarah was previously SVP, Director of Digital Publishing at Mediavest. Prior to Mediavest, Sarah was Vice President and National Media Lead at Razorfish, overseeing the interactive agency's media planning and buying activities for clients including CapitalOne, Victoria's Secret, Starwood, and Schering-Plough, and also served as an executive member of the agency’s advanced media solutions group. Earlier in her career, Sarah spent more than seven years at OgilvyOne, where she directed integrated media planning and buying for IBM.

Sarah is active in the New York marketing community, including AWNY (Advertising Women of NY) Nominating and Digital Committees, and served on their board in 2012-2013. She has been honored as a MIN Sweet 16, AWNY’s Working Mother of the Year and was recognized by Ad Age as one of the top digital hires in 2013.

Sarah is a native of Southern California and a graduate of the University of Southern California.
