Emmy award-winning producer Lisa Mehling has immersed herself in the art and business of advertising since she first encountered the work of David Ogilvy in college. Lisa began her career on the agency side in LA. But It wasn’t long before she moved to New York City and made the jump to production, landing at UK creative boutique Spots Films. It was during her time at Spots that Lisa’s love of advertising came together with her instincts for identifying talent and knack for representing directors.
After a brief stint at RadicalMedia, Lisa joined Chelsea in 1998, and with Allison Amon acquired the company in 2001. Since then, the Chelsea brand has become regarded for its commitment to creative excellence, and the highest standards of production. Lisa served as an Executive Producer on the The Queen of Versailles and is a member of the Television Academy, the Sundance Institute, Film Independent and the WBENC.
