Nandini Ramani

Nandini leads the Engineering Effectiveness team at Twitter and owns product strategy for India. In her dual role, she is responsible for all developer infrastructure and tools for Twitter engineering and focusing on specific needs of the Indian market. Before joining Twitter she was a vice president at Oracle, where she had end-to-end ownership of the Java platform and Internet of Things. Earlier, she held various leadership positions in hardware, graphics and UI software groups at Sun Microsystems.

Nandini earned a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Science and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University. She holds 15 patents for technical work and is currently an executive sponsor of @womeng (women engineers at Twitter) and the Twitter internship programs. She spearheads Twitter’s involvement in Girls Who Code and Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking and traveling the world.
