Casey Rand

Casey was born in Montreal, Quebec.

When she tells people this, they usually say, “DUUUDE. I was in Montreal for a bachelor party once. They have this strip club where the girls…”

Casey does not know what the girls do. She’s only been to one strip club in her life and that was in Richmond, VA, the day she got her Master’s from the VCU Brandcenter. She remembers the jalapeno poppers being surprisingly good.

Now she lives in New York, where the jalapeno poppers are just O.K. Her first job was at BBDO, working on Starbucks, AT&T and HBO. Her second was at Silver + Partners, making stuff for Ben & Jerry's, Carmax and Ultimat Vodka. Now she's at Droga5, where she’s created campaigns for the YMCA, the Clinton Foundation, Under Armour, Diet Coke, Chase and more. People call her the Goldilocks of advertising.

That’s not true. Nobody calls her that.

Casey writes other stuff too, but she rarely gets paid for it.
