Gareth joined TI in May 2010 as Chief Editor of the Global Corruption Report. Prior to joining TI, Gareth was Deputy Manager of the International Programme at the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR) in Geneva, where his work focused on strengthening engagement of human rights defenders with the universal periodic review mechanism of the UN Human Rights Council and the UN human rights treaty bodies. He was also formerly manager of ISHR’s Information Programme, and Senior Legal Officer at the South Asia Human Rights Documentation Centre in Delhi. Gareth holds an MLitt in history from University College Dublin and an LLM in international human rights law from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
