Travis Montaque

Mr. Travis Montaque, age 24, is the founder and CEO of Emogi™, a technology platform combining emojis, big data, machine learning and lab research to provide brands with emotional intelligence about consumers while delivering sentiment-enabled solutions. Montaque was recognized as one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 in 2016 for setting the standard in new strategies and tools for brand engagement in marketing and advertising. A graduate from the University of Miami, Montaque was inducted into the university's Iron Arrow Society, the highest honor any faculty, student, or alumni can receive from the institution. At the age of 22, Montaque was invited by President Bill Clinton to present to world leaders at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting on solving the global youth unemployment problem through entrepreneurship. He was also a keynote speaker at Harvard Business School’s Entrepreneurship Conference the same year. Montaque was previously an investment banking analyst at Barclays Capital, and prior to Barclays he was an analyst at Trivest Partners, a $700M middle-market private equity firm located in Miami, Fla. Montaque attained his first management position at Chick-fil-A at the age of 15 and resigned as General Manager at 19 years old where he ran two franchises with 100+ employees and $6M+ in annual revenue and supported the company's Florida expansion initiatives.
