Matt Derella

Matt was recently appointed as the Global Vice President of Client Partnerships and Brand Strategy for Twitter, expanding his leadership from North American direct sales to oversee the international teams that serve our largest customers worldwide. Previously, Matt and his team drove marketing partnerships with top brands and agencies in North America and oversaw Twitter's innovative Brand and Agency Strategy teams. His team was also responsible for scaling the Twitter Ads API program.

Matt has spent a career working with brands to innovate across television and digital platforms to excite and delight customers at scale. Prior to joining Twitter in 2012, Matt was a Director at Google, where he managed advertising partnerships with large agencies and clients. Earlier, he was a VP at The Weather Channel Companies.

Matt holds a B.A. from Georgetown University. He and his family call New York City home.
