George Mendes is the chef and owner of two acclaimed NYC restaurants: The New York Times' two-star Portuguese spot Lupulo, and the Michelin-starred Iberian restaurant ALDEA. In October 2014, Mendes released his first cookbook, My Portugal: Recipes & Stories. He has made numerous television appearances, including on the TODAY Show, CBS This Morning and Bravo's Top Chef Masters.
