Beth Newell is the creator and editor of the satirical women's magazine, Reductress, which has been called “the feminist Onion.” She has contributed to The Onion News Network, McSweeney's, and Pendulous Breasts Quarterly. Beth was formerly the managing director of sketch teams at The Magnet Theater, where she also teaches sketch writing. She has been performing improv and sketch comedy in NYC since 2005, at venues including The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Caroline's on Broadway.
