Beth Greve

After seven years at Google and YouTube, Beth Greve joined AwesomenessTV, one of the most subscribed to and fastest growing video destinations for teens on YouTube, as Chief Revenue and Partnerships Officer in September 2013. In this role, Greve is responsible for partnering with brands to build marketing programs that resonate with the teen audience through a variety of methods including original programming, brand integrations, custom content and creative media deliverables. In addition, her team designs and develops new ways to drive business on and off the YouTube platform for AwesomenessTV, which includes 90,000 teen and tween-oriented YouTube channels that reach 150 million subscribers and garner roughly one billion views per month. AwesomenessTV was acquired by DreamWorks Animation in May of 2013 and is now a majority-owned subsidiary that continues to operate independently. Hearst Corporation has a 25% interest.

While at YouTube and Google, Greve managed divisions including sales, strategy and business development. Most recently, she served as Head of Content Strategy for Entertainment West at YouTube where she was responsible for managing programming partnerships, developing content strategy and negotiating parameters for content acquisitions. Her team managed some of the largest channels on YouTube including Machinima, Maker Studios and SMOSH.

Prior to that, Greve served as the National Head of Display for the automotive vertical at YouTube and Google. She led her team in the development of strategic marketing solutions for automotive clients nationwide. She earned the highest award at Google as a founding member of this business development team. Greve also has experience managing west coast sales for the finance, technology, travel and retail verticals.

Before working in sales, Greve was the Vice President of Marketing at Fox Channels Group where she redesigned and re-launched cable channels including Fit TV and The Health Network. She began her career in sports marketing as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Management Plus Enterprises, working with such athletes as NBA Champion Shaquille O’Neal, NBA Champion Hakeem Olajuwon, NFL Pro Bowler Ronnie Lott, Olympian Lisa Leslie and Super Bowl Champion Willie McGinest.

Greve is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences that include NATPE, Digital Entertainment World, and Stream Market. She was named to the “Adweek 50” in 2014, a list of top executives driving innovation in brand advertising and marketing.

Greve spends her free time surfing, cooking and playing sports with her two young boys Gunnar and Axel.
