Connie Anne Phillips

Connie Anne Phillips was named Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of Glamour in July 2013. In this role, she oversees all advertising and marketing for the brand. Under her leadership, Glamour was significantly up in virtually every metric year-over-year in 2014. Her digital-first strategy has driven a 122% increase in digital revenue in just two years. In 2014, Ms. Phillips was named Condé Nast’s first Chief Revenue Officer of the Year and was included in Adweek’s annual Hot List as Hottest Publisher of the Year.

Her position at Glamour marks Ms. Phillips’ return to Condé Nast after four years as the publisher of Time Inc.’s InStyle, where she was responsible for the largest number of ad pages in the brand’s history in both September 2012 and March of 2013. Ms. Phillips joined InStyle following a 14-year career at Vogue, where she began as an Account Executive. She was later promoted to Fashion Director, Advertising Manager, and then Associate Publisher, a position she held for eight years. In 2008, she was named Managing Director following the success of the September 2007 issue, which carried the most ad pages in Vogue’s history and was the subject of the documentary “The September Issue.”

Ms. Phillips serves on the Board of Governors of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), the Advisory Board for The Hospital for Special Surgery and the Board of Trustees of the Agnes Irwin School, of which she is an alumna.

Ms. Phillips was born and raised in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Boston College, where she earned a B.A. in English.
