Lucien Boyer

Lucien began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in 1987 before becoming Director of Sponsoring for the Larousse-Lola-Lamborghini Formula 1 racing team.

This experience helped him found LMG (Lifestyle Marketing Group) in Paris in 1991, which was later acquired by Havas in 1998 to launch its sport division, Havas Sports, which quickly became the leader in sports marketing in France.

Lucien oversaw the global expansion of the agency, renaming the network Havas Sports & Entertainment in 2008, at which point he was appointed Global President and CEO, developing its footprint from one to 35 offices in less than 10 years. He moved to London two years ago to firmly establish the global ambitions of Havas SE (now a thriving group of 550 people).

Lucien is recognized as a leading expert in sports and entertainment marketing, is a frequent speaker at international conferences and frequent jury member at prestigious awards ceremonies such as the Cannes Lions or Cristal Festival.

A graduate of ESSEC Business School in Paris, Lucien is passionate about sailing, the Olympics and rock music.
