Paul Lavoie

Paul brought his sense of branding to the advertising world first as an art director at JWT and, only four years later, he became creative director at Cossette, Canada’s largest agency at the time. In 1992, he co-founded TAXI with partner and designer Jane Hope. Integrating the principles of strategy, design, and advertising, they created what has since been recognized as Canada’s Agency of the Decade. TAXI was also awarded the American Small Agency of the Year twice by the 4A’s.

Paul has been selected as one of the 10 most influential pioneers in Canadian marketing over the past century, was the youngest inductee in the Canadian Marketing Hall of Fame, and has received three lifetime achievement awards. He has lectured around the globe, judged and chaired on numerous award juries, and is an active promoter of the industry.

He is active on the boards of HEC Business School in Montréal, the Virginia Commonwealth University Brand Center in Richmond, and more that can\'t fit this page.
