Katie Redlien

Katie Redlien is an accomplished marketer with over 10 years of solid expertise in building and managing global blue-chip consumer brands, including Bacardi Rum, Dewar’s Whisky and Marlboro.
For the past seven years, Mrs. Redlien has held brand management roles at Bacardi USA in Coral Gables, Florida, where she currently serves as Senior Brand Manager for the Bacardi Rums portfolio, the world’s leading collection of rums. Of her myriad accomplishments, Katie recently drove the strategic planning and execution of the brand’s multi-million dollar FIFA World Cup 2014 integration with ESPN and Univision networks. In late 2013, she led the U.S. media launch of the new Bacardi global “Untameable” campaign launch, which has received impressive critical acclaim and helped boost brand affinity scores.
Prior to this, she managed the Dewar’s Blended Scotch Whiskies and Cazadores and Corzo Tequilas businesses at Bacardi USA. From 2002-2007, Katie held marketing and sales roles with Philip Morris USA in Richmond, Virginia, for the company’s Marlboro brand and led the consumer one-to-one programs with the Marlboro Ranch and Indy Car Racing Sponsorship.

Mrs. Redlien is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida, where she received both a B.S.B.A. degree in Marketing and an M.B.A. degree. She and her husband reside in the Miami, Florida area, and in her spare time, she enjoys travel, snowboarding, architecture and design, and spoiling her two Boston Terrier dogs. Katie is also a proud volunteer for Therapy Dogs International’s “Tail Waggin' Tutors” program, which allows students to practice the skill of reading within a relaxed, "dog-friendly" environment.
