Keith Simanton is the managing editor of IMDb, the #1 movie website in the world, and a longtime commentator on movies and the arts.

Keith helped to co-found one of the first movie websites, Film.com, and went on to review film for the Seattle Times, Movieline and Amazon.com.

In addition to being one of the “Oscar Experts” on Goldderby.com he also is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association. He travels to the major film festivals each season including Sundance, Cannes, Venice and Toronto, as well as being on the board of the Seattle Film Festival.

His greatest accomplishment has been with IMDb, which, when he joined in August of 2000, had 3 million page views a month. IMDb now enjoys the patronage of more than 190 million unique users a month, with 100 million downloads of IMDb’s mobile apps worldwide. IMDb’s social network includes over 5.7 million Facebook Likes and 1.2 million Twitter followers.

In addition to writing weekly reviews, Keith hosts IMDb’s original web series, What to Watch (http://www.imdb.com/whattowatch).
